In questo aneddoto, riportato in un articolo da Luca Streri, ecco condensata la filosofia di Mezzopieno, movimento internazionale per la diffusione della cultura della positività, della fiducia e della pratica costruttiva. Una rete di persone, comunità, aziende ed associazioni convinte che il mondo non debba essere cambiato ma vissuto con coraggio ed entusiasmo.
Il Presidente e Cofondatore del movimento, Luca Streri, ha lavorato in borsa a Ginevra fino ai 32 anni. Gestore di Hedge Funds internazionali, si è poi dedicato al microcredito e alla lotta alla povertà.
Come nasce Mezzopieno?
Mezzopieno nasce nel sud dell’India da una alleanza di popolazioni tribali che sotto la guida del celebre filosofo mistico e padre del dialogo interculturale Raimon Panikkar, si sono organizzate per affrontare la povertà e l’isolamento che le opprimeva e le divideva, per ricostruire la confidenza e la fiducia in un contesto molto eterogeneo e di forte difficoltà. Il movimento è nato da un un processo di riorganizzazione su base indigena, come risposta dal basso al bisogno di re-interpretare il mondo e la società in maniera più positiva, costruttiva e meno dipendente dalla polemica, dalla paura e dalla conflittualità.
La comunità che si è formata negli anni attorno al pensiero Mezzopieno, è oggi una grande rete composta da persone, associazioni ed enti che credono nell’importanza di promuovere e interpretare un approccio costruttivo ed armonioso nei confronti della vita e dei problemi, nel rapporto con gli altri e nella gestione delle sfide e delle difficoltà. Mezzopieno è nato per diffondere la cultura della positività a tutti i livelli della società.
Qual è il valore di una buona notizia?
Una buona notizia ti cambia. Dà una visione positiva del mondo, restituisce delle soluzioni e ispira le persone a mettersi in gioco. Il grande valore di una buona notizia lo capisci quando guardi il mondo immediatamente dopo averla sentita: tutto sembra più bello e carico di potenzialità costruttiva. C’è molto del significato dell’amore nelle buone notizie. Se apprezzi e dai valore alle cose belle, le stai in qualche modo riconoscendo, ringraziando e quindi amando.
Buone notizie o Notizie buone?
È qualcosa di più di una sottigliezza dialettica. Una notizia buona è la narrazione di un fatto considerato buono; è esclusivamente legata alla bontà del messaggio che tratta.
Una Buona Notizia è una notizia che ha un valore a prescindere dal suo contenuto, è buona perché è costruita con delle caratteristiche che la rendono tale; è un’informazione data bene. Una buona notizia è molto di più di una notizia buona perché supera la valutazione morale sul suo contenuto ed eleva il suo fine alla trasmissione di un arricchimento costruttivo.
Potendo impostare la scaletta di un telegiornale o il menabò di un quotidiano, in che modo organizzereste le notizie?
La nostra proposta è quella di definire dei parametri chiari e pubblicamente dichiarati per la classificazione delle Buone Notizie e di rispettare questi impegni in tutte le notizie. Stiamo inoltre chiedendo ai media di dedicare almeno metà dello spazio alle notizie positive, quelle cioè che narrano gli eventi insieme alle loro soluzioni. Per non influenzare negativamente e in maniera squilibrata i lettori, ogni notiziario dovrebbe rispettare questi due parametri e dichiarare chiaramente la sua linea editoriale e i suoi parametri di scelta e di scrittura delle notizie. La nostra campagna nazionale per la Parità di Informazione Positiva chiede che i notiziari riservino almeno la metà per le notizie positive. Diversi giornalisti lo stanno già facendo.
A che genere di notizie vorreste fosse dato più spazio?
Nell’informazione tradizionale c’è una forte predominanza della politica, della cronaca nera e della polemica. Lo spazio dedicato alle buone notizie è pressoché nullo. È assolutamente necessario dare più valore e dedicare più posto all’impegno delle persone che si adoperano per il bene del mondo, ai successi, alle idee che migliorano la vita e la società, alla collaborazione, alla solidarietà, alla fiducia e alla gratitudine di tantissimi che non si lasciano scoraggiare dalle sfide e che le affrontano, spesso riuscendo a superarle o se non altro a non farsi sopraffare da esse. Anche gli insuccessi inoltre possono avere valore, quando sono intermezzi di un cammino o stimoli per comprendere qualcosa di nuovo. Per crescere in armonia e per liberare la nostra capacità di costruire abbiamo bisogno di conoscere l’amore che il mondo mette in quello che fa, i traguardi raggiunti dalle persone e dalle scienze, le nuove scoperte, i sacrifici di chi si mette in gioco per gli altri e per il bene del mondo; insomma tutto ciò che nasce e che cresce piuttosto che ciò che finisce e sembra peggiorare.
