Arriva oggi, 13 dicembre 2017 a Roma, Keesy il primo punto di accoglienza per chi fa home-sharing o gestisce un Bed & Breakfast.
La start up è italiana, e a breve replicherà i suoi check point anche a Milano e Venezia.
Fondata a Firenze da Patrizio Donnini, fondatore e CEO, Keesy nasce per semplificare la vita di chi lavora nel settore dell’ospitalità, assicurando massima flessibilità. L’idea è semplice ma rivoluzionaria: grazie alla tecnologia, check-in e check-out vengono automatizzati, così come anche i noiosi adempimenti burocratici relativi ai documenti da presentare. Tutto in maniera automatica e gestibile a distanza, attraverso pc, smartphone o tablet.
Perché è nata Keesy?
L’ideatore Patrizio Donnini si è ritrovato con un appartamento da affittare ma con l’impossibilità di allontanarsi dalla città per le proprie vacanze, in quanto in attesa di riceve gli ospiti, magari ad un’ora non definita perché non dipendente dalla loro volontà.
Ecco quindi l’idea che ha messo in campo: un box di 40 metri quadri, attivo 24 ore su 24 e 365 giorni all’anno, in cui poter ritirare le chiavi da una cassettina grazie a un codice segreto inviato da chi affitta (host). Il turista (guest) dichiara le proprie generalità attraverso uno schermo touch e paga la tassa di soggiorno, anche con bancomat e carta di credito.
La start up è nata proprio per permettere a chi fa dell’ospitalità un servizio, di poter conciliare lavoro, famiglia, tempo libero senza rimanere in attesa del cliente agli orari più improbabili in attesa della consegna delle chiavi e della prassi burocratica relativa alla compilazione dei documenti da trasmettere in prefettura.
Come funziona il Keesy point.
Keesy è davvero molto semplice da usare: il proprietario dell’appartamento o del B&B scarica l’app, gratuita sia per Android che per iOS, o si registra sul sito. Prenota la data per il check-in o il check-out dell’ospite che riceve. Il turista riceve via sms o tramite e-mail il codice unico e segreto per accedere al Keesy Point dove troverà la chiave dell’alloggio, tutto in completa autonomia.
Il punto di forza di questo progetto è che oltre ad essere il posto fisico dove andare a prendere o consegnare materialmente le chiavi nell’apposita key box, il punto Keesy Point offre anche un deposito bagagli la cui tariffa è di 1 euro all’ora, unico prezzo a carico dell’ospite.
I prezzi però sono alla stessa stregua del deposito bagagli delle stazioni, con la differenza che è direttamente il turista a sistemare la propria valigia in un’area dove c’è più controllo e sicurezza in quanto completamente videosorvegliata.
Il pagamento della custodia delle chiavi spetta, invece, al padrone di casa: 9,90 euro al giorno, in cui sono inclusi tutti gli altri servizi di accoglienza.
Oltretutto il punto Keesy offre un collegamento wi-fi gratuito, una colonnina ricarica-cellulare e assistenza da remoto per gestire ogni imprevisto.

Già a lavoro per aprire a Milano. Fermata successiva: Venezia. E, molto presto, la consegna smart delle chiavi arriverà anche a Bologna, Como e Napoli.
