La Città dei Mestieri è un gioco di carte educativo e unico nel suo genere, perché avvicina ragazzi e ragazze della scuola secondaria di primo grado al mondo del lavoro, con un metodo divertente e innovativo.
Un approccio e una maniera divertente e “leggera” per introdurre il mondo lavoro nei ragazzi della scuola media. Questo significa conoscere e assecondare, le naturali propensioni dei nostri figli, introducendoli nell’immaginario mondo lavorativo. Attraverso un semplice gioco di carte, i nostri figli potranno conoscere l’universo che ogni giorno vede milioni di genitori uscire di casa per andare a lavorare.
Come funziona?
I giocatori hanno a disposizione trenta carte professioni: l’obiettivo di ogni giocatore è quello di completare la propria carta, affrontando le prove necessarie per acquisire la formazione e le competenze richieste.
L’obiettivo di questo gioco è conoscere il mondo delle professioni in maniera divertente ed efficace. La varietà delle figure proposte avvicina i ragazzi a più mestieri, allontanandoli dagli stereotipi; la quantità di professioni proposte consente alla stessa persona di giocare molte volte, scoprendo ogni volta un nuovo mestiere. Il gioco invita a riflettere sulle diverse caratteristiche necessarie per svolgere una professione, distinguendo tra le proprie competenze specifiche e trasversali, e diventa un’occasione di confronto sul percorso di studio e professionale che più si avvicina alle abilità di ogni ragazzo.
Il gioco comprende 30 carte professioni per far conoscere in maniera approfondita un alto numero di mestieri; 16 carte formazione per conoscere il percorso di studi necessario per svolgere ciascuna professione; 90 carte competenze specifiche per caratterizzare il più possibile ogni singola professione; 30 carte competenze trasversali per sviluppare creatività, abilità, comunicazione e precisione di ogni giocatore.
La città dei mestieri è stato presentato all’interno del Salone dell’Orientamento della Città metropolitana di Torino nel novembre 2015, durante un Seminario Internazionale a Bruxelles e nel corso del XVI Convegno della SIO Società Italiana Orientamento a Milano nell’ottobre 2016. E’ già stato testato con alcune classi delle scuole medie di Torino e provincia e l’apprezzamento degli stessi ragazzi ha stimolato gli ideatori a produrne 400 copie per allargarne la diffusione.
Progetti futuri
La Città dei Mestieri vorrebbe l’introduzione del gioco per la scuola primaria, dal momento che tutte le ricerche evidenziano la necessità di aiutare i bambini fin da piccoli ad acquisire le informazioni ed imparare a scegliere e vorrebbe fosse utilizzato quale strumento per educare alla scelta all’interno di associazioni, gruppi di ragazzi, scout e oratori.
Il fondatore del progetto
Il gioco nasce da un’idea della Cooperativa Orso che da quasi 30 anni opera nell’ambito dell’orientamento al lavoro e alla formazione ed è stato progettato e ideato da Roberta Bertellino e Milena Paulon, realizzato graficamente da Giusti Eventi srl e stampato da Gam Edit srl. Nasce all’interno del progetto Città dei Mestieri e delle Professioni di Torino che è parte dell’associazione internazionale delle Città dei mestieri che ha sede a Parigi e che ha come obiettivo quello di aiutare le persone a diventare maggiormente attori della vita professionale.
Città dei mestieri di Torino è un progetto di Cooperativa Orso, CNA Torino attraverso l’impresa sociale Innovaper, Idea Agenzia per il Lavoro e Circoscrizione 3 Città di Torino.
