Si chiama VERSO TECHNOLOGIES. E’ una startup nata nel 2017 per sviluppare sistemi interattivi di ultima generazione. Cosa vuol dire?
La Società ha sviluppato e brevettato VERSO ONE, un dispositivo indossabile a forma di anello che permette di interagire in maniera semplice ed efficace con smartphone, computer e ulteriori dispositivi mobili. Infatti Verso One, una volta indossato, grazie a sensori inerziali, riesce a riconoscere, in tempo reale, i gesti delle mani e delle dita collegandoli a relative funzioni.
Grazie ad un semplice ma sofisticato oggetto è possibile l’immediata connessione a videogiochi, musica, realtà virtuale, immagini, sport, creando e personalizzando il tutto senza scrivere una riga di codice.
Connesso via Bluetooth o USB a smartphone, PC o altri dispositivi, Verso ONE consente facilmente di rispondere ad una telefonata, alzare il volume di un brano musicale, disegnare e colorare forme, modellare un oggetto in 3D, annotare un testo, controllare un drone, arrampicarsi su una parete rocciosa, suonare una batteria e tanto altro.
Come funziona?…
Verso One si basa su algoritmi per l’elaborazione del segnale che analizzano le componenti fondamentali del movimento (accelerazione, orientamento relativo e orientamento rispetto all’asse magnetico terrestre) e riconoscono in tempo reale i gesti o i movimenti realizzati dall’utente, che vengono convertiti in segnali di controllo per un’applicazione (es. editor audio/video, videogame, software per presentazioni o di grafica) o un dispositivo esterno (es. Oculus, HTC Vive, Samsung GEAR).
Grazie alle dimensioni estremamente ridotte e agli accessori standard, uno o più dispositivi Verso ONE possono essere indossati su differenti parti del corpo come caviglie e braccia. Inoltre è un dispositivo multiuso che può essere abbinato ad oggetti per renderli interattivi.

ll software di Verso (per PC Windows, Linux e Mac e per smartphone Android e iOS) mette a disposizione degli utenti un dizionario di comandi già pronti che possono essere associati a qualsiasi applicazione standard (Powerpoint, Autocad, Spotify, Ableton, GTA e altri); inoltre sempre a disposizione un ambiente di sviluppo dedicato e un marketplace online in cui sarà possibile scaricare (gratuitamente o a pagamento) e condividere nuovi plug-in e applicazioni per usare il dispositivo con i software più diffusi, per integrare altre funzionalità e per immaginare nuovi utilizzi in altri settori.
