Un sogno? Sicuramente… Ma oggi più facile da realizzare grazie a Orange Sea, il portale degli aperitivi in barca.
Che si tratti di una festa, di un appuntamento o di una serata tra amici, una cornice spettacolare e la scelta, tra yacht e vela, dell’imbarcazione dei propri sogni a un costo accessibile.

Tre soci: oltre a te, Matteo Corfiati (Co-fondatore e CIO) e Matteo Ciuffoli (socio e CTO). Da dove arriva l’idea?
L’idea è nata nella nostra città, a Rimini, per risolvere un problema del mercato. L’offerta di esperienze in barca nel nostro territorio è sottovalutata rispetto alla domanda turistica potenziale. E i proprietari di barche hanno spesso problemi di dover abbattere i costi di gestione. Il turismo esperienziale sta prendendo il sopravvento e le persone cercano sempre più momenti “instagrammabili” o che possano fare esplodere di like e commenti i loro social network. Per questo abbiamo deciso di focalizzarci sulla magia dell’aperitivo al tramonto in barca a vela e yacht: ha tutti gli ingredienti per far sognare una persona che, anche se non è mai stata in mare, non vedrebbe l’ora di trovarsi con uno spritz in mano assieme agli amici e la musica preferita in una location spettacolare.
Come funziona Orange Sea?
La piattaforma Funziona di base come Airbnb: i proprietari caricano i loro annunci con le barche e ricevono richieste dagli utenti che vogliono prenotare un aperitivo in barca. Il sistema permette di tenersi in contatto con una chat interna per risolvere qualsiasi dubbio e accordarsi per esigenze particolari.
Quali requisiti sono necessari per offrire o richiedere il servizio?
Da una parte accettiamo solo proprietari con imbarcazioni immatricolate e in possesso di patente nautica per questioni di sicurezza. Dall’altra per entrare e prenotare l’aperitivo dei propri sogni è sufficiente iscriversi gratuitamente al portale e scegliere quello più adatto alle proprie esigenze
Da quanto tempo siete attivi?
Abbiamo fatto il nostro primo vero test l’estate scorsa nei due mesi estivi con circa 200 clienti e il 95% di feedback positivi.
Questa estate ci espanderemo lungo tutta la riviera.
Come è stato possibile sostenere economicamente l’avvio del progetto?
Abbiamo richiesto un prestito come startup innovativa al fondo di garanzia che copre l’80% del debito per i costi di marketing e di avvio della startup oltre ad aver messo una parte di capitale proprio.
Cosa rende speciale Orange Sea?
Siamo il primo portale focalizzato sulla prenotazione di aperitivi in barca con l’opportunità di attirare un pubblico mainstream, dai turisti a chi vuole festeggiare particolari eventi: un anniversario, un addio al nubilato etc… Durante il nostro testi i clienti sono rimasti spesso “senza parole” per la tipologia di esperienza che molto spesso si trovavano a vivere per la prima volta in vita loro.
Espansioni in vista?
Per fare crescere il nostro progetto dobbiamo puntare su due aspetti fondamentali:
la destagionalizzazione, trovando location su cui far continuare il business anche nei mesi invernali per l’Italia (come Dubai, Miami etc etc)
e l’accesso al mercato del lusso, con una tipologia di offerta premium e yacht di livello.
Nel 2016 siamo stati selezionati per un percorso di accelerazione in Silicon Valley dove ho trascorso personalmente 3 settimane prendendo contatti per espandere il business in America.
Da parte nostra, non vediamo l’ora che il progetto si avvicini alle coste della Capitale…
