Gustavo Arguello e Carla Martins sono i fondatori di Plicopà, una custodia per IPad che fa anche da supporto. L’idea era nata dalla necessità di uno dei due fondatori, Gustavo, di proteggere attraverso una custodia, il suo IPad e nello stesso empo che, tale custodia, si trasformasse in un supporto che lo tenesse in verticale. Ma è con Carla, che Plicopà si tinge di “Green”: realizza la custodia con un tipo di cartone ondulato, estremamente stabile e marchiato FSC, un marchio che garantisce la provenienza dei prodotti contenenti legno, da foreste gestite in maniera responsabile e corretta, inoltre le custodie sono personalizzate con layout differenti.
Dall’idea al successo
Gustavo e Carla, di origine Brasiliana ma con cittadinanza italiana, realizzarono l’idea di Plicopà con la volontà di concretizzarla in Italia: infatti l’idea fu presentata nello spazio The Hub di Milano, che piacque agli investitori… ma con riserve, che andavano a rovinare l’anima Green del progetto. Provarono il Crowdfunding: raccogliere 25.000 euro in un mese, fallì anche questa… Alla fine approdarono, insieme al proprio progetto, in Inghilterra ed in poco tempo fondarono la Plicopà Limited con grande soddisfazione loro e, probabilmente, con nostra amarezza che abbiamo fatto sfuggire un buon progetto di business, divertente e “pulito”.
